VARES Frequency List Updated

The frequency list sheet has been updated with a new simplex frequency. It was updated tonight. (9/6/17). This sheet lists all primary and secondary frequencies used. We suggest you put the frequencies in your radio’s memory in the same order listed. For the past 12 hours Irma has been classified as a category 5 hurricane. It currently has winds of 185 MPH. This is the latest report on hurricane Irma by Volusia County Emergency Management and  National hurricane Center as of 6pm. VCEM is monitoring Irma. They have been in conference calls twice a day with the NWS, NHC and FDEM. They will keep everyone up to date as things change.
