Hurricane Harvey Makes Landfall

From Steve Szabo WB4OMM ARRL NFL Section Manager

Hi folks,
If you are not aware, Hurricane Harvey (Category 3/4) is going to make landfall on the SE Texas coast tonight – a reminder to be aware, and make sure YOU and YOUR FAMILY are prepped during this Hurricane Season. I encourage you to monitor the Hurricane Net and any other nets that have Hurricane related information – and NWS, NHC, NOAA, and other Weather Services to stay abreast of this dangerous storm. Check those “jump kits” and your equipment.

And as a reminder, DO NOT SELF-DEPLOY – There has not been a request made to the State EOC for ESF2 Support. If one is made, I will advise immediately.

Please keep those folks in harm’s way in your thoughts and prayers.

EVERYONE COUNTS!
