EC & AEC Application

For the past six months, Steve Craft W1SGC has been acting Emergency Coordinator for Volusia ARES. He took over after I become Section Emergency Coordinator. This was for hurricane season. Hurricane season is over and it’s a new year. He asked that the position only be temporary. He has served many years as EC for Volusia in the past, and don’t have the time to help more.

We need more people to step up and help serve their community. That’s why I ask anyone that has an interest in becoming Emergency Coordinator or Assistant Emergency Coordinator to follow the link below to fill out an application.   • Technician class license or higher
  • Volusia County Emergency Management background check
  • Full ARRL membership (EC ONLY)
  • ICS – 100, ICS – 200, ICS – 700 and ICS – 800
