Bike MS-150 Signup by September 4th – Update

Updated on 8/18/17 Bike MS-150 is set for Saturday October 14 – Sunday October 15. This event is in support of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The county’s of St. johns, Flagler and Volusia station volunteers at rest stops and intersections along the route to support communications and help track riders. Wednesday Survey Canceled

The shelter survey set for Wednesday August 2nd has been canceled. We can not get accurate results from a survey with the repeater having reception issues. The technicians with the county are currently working on resolving the problem. We will reschedule the survey as soon as the repeater is back to working condition. Field Day Testing Session Time Change

The testing session scheduled for 9am has been moved to 3pm. The powerpole workshop is still scheduled for 3pm but will be held outside. If you can not make the workshop at 3pm you are still welcome to come out any time during the field day event. It doesn’t take long to show you how to make the changes. Volusia AREs has been asked to provide communications during this years MS walk located in Ormond Beach. This is a 1.5 mile walk from the Casements, across the Granada bridge and back. Daytona 500 ARES NET

Volusia ARES will have an open net on Sunday February 26 starting early afternoon for the Daytona 500 race. This net will run until the end of the race.  This will be an open net and the repeater will be open for regular amateur use.
