Field Day Testing Session Time Change

The testing session scheduled for 9am has been moved to 3pm. The powerpole workshop is still scheduled for 3pm but will be held outside. If you can not make the workshop at 3pm you are still welcome to come out any time during the field day event. It doesn’t take long to show you how to make the changes. ICS 100 & 700 Classes

The Volusia County Health Department will be holding free ICS-100 and ICS-700 classes every month for 2017. Everyone is welcome but you must pre-register with Gregory Melvin before you can take ether class. ARES March 18th Meeting Time Change

During the February meeting it was discussed moving the ARES meeting time to 10am. Doing this would give people and ARES more time for activities in the afternoon. For now, this is just a temporary change just for the March and April meetings. MS Walk March 11th

Volusia AREs has been asked to provide communications during this years MS walk located in Ormond Beach. This is a 1.5 mile walk from the Casements, across the Granada bridge and back. We will be using simplex frequency 145.555 with no tone. An arrival time has not been provided but will be posted shortly. The end of the event should be by 1pm.
